Note-Pad is provided as a free, browser-based text editor. You are solely responsible for all notes, text, formatting, checklists, or files you input. You agree not to use the service to generate shareable links that contain malicious code, hate speech, copyright-infringing material, or illegal content.
3. No Server Data Retention / Backup Policy
Because this tool runs fully client-side and saves notes locally to your browser's LocalStorage:
- We do not create backups of your notes.
- We are not responsible for any data loss caused by clearing browser cookies, cache files, browser updates, hardware failures, or registry cleanings.
- We strongly recommend downloading your notes regularly as raw text (`.txt` / `.md`) files using the toolbar's Download option.
4. Warranty Disclaimer
This service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties of any kind. We make no guarantees that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with future browser versions.
